curiousity
am just curious for long time wars out there. what do you prefer for a "damage mod" inscription? "strength and honor" or "to the pain"? considering a war has high inherent armor and can take considerablw damage. thanks for any response

I prefered in stance for the longest time, but then realized if I'm below 50% for a long period of time odds are we're gonna wipe.

Strength and Honour.
It's essentially non-conditional, unless your monks/team fails hard.

Strength and Honor or Brawns over Brains.
I've used the 15/-5 with little problem.

As you said, Armor isn't a problem for Warriors, and thus they'll never be under 50% health, and thus 15^50 is essentially non-conditional. Other good ones would be Brawn over Brains (15/-5), Dance with Death (15/stance)

What they said. Though In theory, if you wanted to have all other ones available to fit the build your running, that's better. Expensive and nit-picky as well :P

Really most of the time I believe for PvE that a 15/-5 is the best since most PvE warrior bars don't have many energy skills

That's why you go W/Me and bring things like Arcane Mimicry and Arcane Thievery

Nub bashing aside, I actually prefer 15/-5 to 15^50 because of the prevelence of surge/burn mobs in nightfall and eotn. A 15/-5 will leave a warrior with 15 energy - exactly enough to use enduring, enraging and fgj and hit the first creature at just above 0e reducing the initial 4-5xEsurge/ejburn spike down to nothing.

I've thought about this before, and again just now, and i still can't think of one single freakin' use you'd ever use a "to the pain" inscription over another inscription. Hell, i can't even think of a situation where it might come in handy or even be semi-efficient.
Stick with the 15^50's, or 15/-5's for most general situations.

A war can never have enough armor
I prefer the 15^50 myself, last time I tried to run a 15 -10armor I had the misfortune of encountering an Air elemental boss Maida the Ill Tempered - oh did that hurt!

15^50 ftw.
15/-10 I don't like.
15/-5 is okay if you don't have a 15^50.
